7th Annual Awards Luncheon

October 2016 at the Kauffman Foundation Conference Center

Do you know a business who is a champion in their efforts to include individuals with disabilities in their workplace?

The GKCBLN DisAbility Champions Luncheon celebrates outstanding achievements in disability inclusion in the workplace.  What better time to do this than during National Disability Employment Awareness Month?

  • Our keynote speaker along with emcee, John Holt, from WDAF Fox4News, help recognize DisAbility Champion companies in the Kansas City area
  • Help us celebrate your company's accomplishments by completing the DisAbility Champions Application - click document link below
  • Submit application by deadline - September 15, 2016

To get started evaluating your company's inclusion and employment efforts review the following.

  1. Describe how disability is a part of your organization’s overall diversity efforts.
  2. How is your workplace an inclusive environment for employees with disabilities?
  3. Describe your overall commitment to disability outreach efforts in addition to recruiting and hiring.
  4. Share examples of how your disability employment efforts have benefited your business.
